Some small adaptations will be necessary to turbo my RB25DE. To start theres the oil feed for the turbo itself, the DET takes a feed from the exhaust side of the block, feeding back at the base of the block to the sump. The DE block has the oil feed blocked and no return, i will be using the return from the head breather and taking a feed from the pressure sensor, using a 1/8 bspt adapter and a hose tail, i will be feeding via a 5mm braded pressure proof line.

This in turn will be feeding the top entry of the turbo unit for oil feed through another bspt hosetail, water will be supplied from a feed off the inlet, using a 3mm silicone based line and then fed back to the inlet, these will connect via banjo connectors. Im using the same MAF however the airbox is trash, this will be replaced with an APEXi power filter

Im leaving the DV off and blanking as im starting at 4psi boost to test and accomodate moderate fueling increases, i recon based on the low boost stock internals will be fine and injectors etc. However as i tune i may need to adapt these.

Exhaust is my 3inch cat back using a 3inch downpipe and open bellmouth, wategate is integrated at this stage. Whilst testing i am omitting the intercooler in favour of a 68mm silicone loopback from turbo outlet to hotpipe once all tested the front mount will be fitted however this will be tested in stages.

well i have all the parts i need to my forced induction modification of my RB25DE, the cars coming off the road today and all the NA parts will start to be removed over the next few days. I have the merc as a backup vehicle so theres no need to rush the job so i will document.

I have checked the TD03 today and its mint, along with the manifold and other parts, i am waiting on an updated hotpipe to test fit everything to set my levels, once fitted and test fired the uprated and stainless parts will get fitted.
